I just graduated from university (where we were given a free 1 year subscription to Tableau products). I'm thinking of creating a personal Tableau account, but just want to make sure that my old files can still be saved and open from my new account? Thx in advance!

Hi Sophie,
No, unfortunately the .twb files are the structure of the workbook only and don't contain the data. So you'll need to save them on download as .twbx so that the workbook opens properly. Unless, you have the original dataset for the .twb? Then you could point the .twb to that data source. If that makes sense? Best, Don
