Hello all,

I've spent the last couple of days trying to crack this nut by reading other threads and despite having learned a lot (I'm fairly new to mapping in Tableau) I haven't quite managed to get the answer I need. Hopefully someone can help. I have two data sources, one with Lat/Long of incidents, and one with Lat/Long of centres. What I want to do is have the incidents plotted on a map, and a dual axis of centres in a different style (be that larger circles or images or whatever). I've linked the data using a full outer join and although I can create each map indepenently, I can't seem to find the best way to combine them. The data has no relation to each other, other than Lat/Long.

Here's what I have so far...

The problem you can see is that I don't know how to show ONLY the centres on the second axis. If someone can suggest a better way of doing this I would be very grateful.

Andy

    Good morning Andrew and Mark

Mark the way you have joined the data is the source of the issue - it plots ALL the points in each map and cant easily be filtered - but you can still use the data set as a single axis map

    the attached will return this
