Programs and Outcomes can be useful when you need to track more than just individual activities—for example, connecting a sustainability program with its goals, activities, measurable outcomes, and progress over time.
Some potential use cases could include:
- Emissions-reduction initiatives and their target outcomes
- Energy-efficiency programs
- Supplier sustainability programs
- Waste-reduction initiatives
- Tracking targets, milestones, and actual results
I’d be interested in hearing how others are structuring the Program → Activities/Goals → Outcomes relationship in NZC, especially where the outcome needs to be measured over multiple reporting periods.
If anyone has a real-world implementation example, that would be great to compare.
