We use Service Cloud Voice for Service Cloud. When a call is initiated by click-to-dial on an account or a contact, the Related Record field on the Voice Call record automatically gets populated with that account or contact. However, when we click-to-dial from a custom object, the Related Record field on the Voice Call record does not get populated with the custom object.
Any solution to having the Related Record field on the Voice Call record populating automatically with the custom object the call was started from?
@Emmanuel Grembo - We've circumvented this issue by creating a record-triggered flow for when a Voice Call record is Created. You can then branch decisions and logic as necessary to pass through the custom object ID into the newly created Voice Call Related Record field.
