SFDX Scanner Installation Error in VS Code

Hi All,

I am getting the below error when I try to install SFDX Scanner in my VS Code. The engine "node" is incompatible with this module. Expected version "^18.18.0 || >=20.0.0". Got "18.15.0"

I intalled node v22.6.0 almost 3 to 4 times but still some where its referring it as 18.15.0

When I sfdx -v command,  I am getting sfdx-cli/7.209.6 win32-x86 node-v18.15.0

Any idea why its not getting the latest v22 ?

Any help is appreciated.
