So our org serves those serving in the US Military, across all branches. There are many many different Salutations within the military, and each branch has its own version. The Army alone has 37 Salutations that we can come up with, and then the other branches (Navy, Air force, etc.) have different parallel versions. I cannot make them all pickable options in the Salutation Picklist. Looking for ideas of how to handle this. I imagine I could make a really big flow where I only have the Army options in the picklist, and then the flow changes the Salutation based on what military branch is selected for that record. I'm not so fluent at making flows but I imagine that's possible? Would love any advice or guidance on that. Another option I thought of is maybe having a field (perhaps via screen flow) that's a free text field, and typing a Salutation in it will make what you typed be put in the real Saluation field. Seems like it could get messy though.

A controlling & dependent picklist combination will help here. The branch can be the controlling picklist & salutation the dependent.

With this configuration when you select Army, you will see all the available Salutation specific to Army branch & so on.
