General Accounting Units tied to specific opportunity owners

Is it possible to create a rule so that when a specific opportunity owner is assigned to a donation opportunity, then it will change the General Accounting Unit to a specific one? For example, our default General Accounting Unit is "Mission Advancement", however we have five other GAUs that we would like to use specifically for certain opportunity owners. The sequence might look something like this.

1. Donation opportunity is created. Default GAU is "Mission Advancement".

2. Opportunity owner is changed to Employee A so the GAU would be changed to a 100% allocation to "Employee A Fund".

or Employee A creates the donation opportunity themselves so that the GAU is automatically "Employee A Fund".
