Anyone got any ideas why an engagement studio might be failing to update lead/contacts campaign status if applied in a step? The people are passing through the step but the update to campaign status isn't happening and the campaign step of selection and status is correct.
A couple of possibilities. If the person is are not already in Salesforce, nothing will happen (until they are in Salesforce, and then it will update). If the connected campaigns aren't aligned, it's possible that you could add them to an unconnected campaign and nothing will happen. I guess it's also possible that if the SF campaign has passed its end date it won't update, but I'm grasping at straws there. The fact that you can see the campaign to add them to it with a status says to me that it's at least "mostly" setup all right. Seems like a bug. I'd try and create another test ES and see if you can add people to a clone of the first campaign and see if it works...
