How to automate components assignment in packages ?

Question

How to automate below post installation of a package?

-Assigning particular Record types to specific profiles.

-Assigning particular custom page layouts to specific profiles

-Setting custom compact layouts in place of system default on specific objects.

-Overriding Standard buttons with lightning component assignment

The above mentioned steps are being performed manually which is very time consuming, I am looking for better approaches for implamentation.

Hi Chakravarthi,

Greetings!

You can deploy the profile metadata which has all the permissions and assignments like page layouts and recordTypes.Otherwise,you can edit and add the permissions in the profile metadata and deploy changes to avoid manual affort.
