Hi All,

At present the users in our org can only save reports in public and private folders only- they can view all created folders.  When we give  permission at profile level to edit the created folder they can save to it, fair enough, but they have the option to delete all reports in the created folder.

My question is. Is there a way they can save to the created folder, but not delete a report they didn't create? See examples below.

HM1 shows a user saving a report in a public folder they created with no option to save to a created folder (user can view).

HM2 Shows report from public folder being save to Belfast. This folder have edit at profile level.

HM3 shows user can delete a report that they didn't create.

Many thanks in advance. Graham

Hi @Graham Mckinney, did you add "Manage Reports in Public Folders" for your users on the profile level? If so, I would kindly suggest creating a permission set instead and adding it to users or permission set groups if you use that approach. The permission that you should check out is: "Edit My Reports" - "Edit, move, save, and delete user's own reports in shared folders." alongside "Create and Customize Reports" permission.

Let me know if that works - it's difficult to determine all permissions you provided to your users so probably back nad forth is needed. Thanks.
