How do I enable contact point address object? I can see this object on my sandbox but I can't find it in production. Is there a setting that I missing?

have you had any luck finding more info / use cases for the ContactPointAddress object? We have it in place and are using it like "for each account there are multiple facilities with their own address" to match to assets and opportunities, but I'm considering replacing with a custom object. My biggest pain point is that they don't behave like other relate objects on account merge - records attached to the losing account appear to also be deleted.
I'd love to connect with you and compare notes.
