I've created the clone of the Sales Platform User, but once I select save, the screen does not come up with an edit button nor does it say "Profile Edit" like in the work along video, so I'm unable to find/edit the Standard Object Permissions. What am I missing?

I think the Extended Profile setting is turned on.
If you want it to be the same as the video, try turning it off.
