Hi. I have a donor who has made a multi year individual pledge to give $10k per year for 3 years (total = $30k). Their first two payments are made via a personal check reducing their pledge balance to $10k. For the final $10k payment, they send a grant through their family foundation. I need to record the hard payment as coming from the family foundation so I create a paid opportunity linked to the foundation. I also create a soft credit to the original donor. For the donor, they have now completed their 3 year pledge. But, in NPSP there is still an unpaid balance of $10k on the original Opportunity. Is there any way to link the soft credit to unpaid pledge balance? If not, how do others manage this issue? Thanks!

Hi Jenny. To clarify, on the contact record, you would see the DAF donation in the contact related Opportunities. On the account record for the DAF, you would see the donation in the account related Third Party Donor record.
