My team is trying to create a year-over-year Campaign comparison report but is having trouble since there is no Fiscal Year field on the Campaign object. How do others report on year to year Campaign performance?
I just grouped the Report Columns by Closedate and selected "Group Dates by Fiscal Year"
Then I created these 4 Report Summary Formulas
Formula 1 (Variance Count)
RowCount - PREVGROUPVAL(RowCount, CLOSE_DATE)
Formula 2(Variance %)
IF(PREVGROUPVAL(RowCount, CLOSE_DATE) <> 0,
(RowCount - PREVGROUPVAL(RowCount, CLOSE_DATE)) / PREVGROUPVAL(RowCount, CLOSE_DATE),NULL)
Formula 3 (Variance $Amount)
AMOUNT:SUM - PREVGROUPVAL(AMOUNT:SUM, CLOSE_DATE)
Formula 4 ($Variance %)
IF(PREVGROUPVAL(AMOUNT:SUM, CLOSE_DATE) <> 0,
(AMOUNT:SUM - PREVGROUPVAL(AMOUNT:SUM, CLOSE_DATE)) / PREVGROUPVAL(AMOUNT:SUM, CLOSE_DATE),NULL )
