When we use the internet in our office, we have to enter ID and Pass for proxy authentication.
So, when we use Outlook Integration, we have to proxy authenticate too.
In Outlook Integration window,
- Adin error is displayed.
- Proxy Authentication window is displayed with right side lacking. So the signin button is partly lacking. As a result, the cancel button, which should be displayed on the right side, is not fully displayed.
We use outlook as a windows applicatoin. Outlook version : Microsoft® Outlook® for Microsoft 365 MSO (16.0.14326.20900) 64bit Please inform whether above case is general or peculiar to our office.

I got a suggestion from Microsoft about this case.
Microsoft doesn’t recommend using Outlook via proxy server which requests an authentication. So, if we use like that, unexpected behavior might occur.
For this case, Microsoft suggested below.
- We should change proxy server settings not to request authentications.
- We should control the route by pac files not to connect via proxy server.
So, I’ll try to check the proxy server settings.
