I've got the Asana api working via External Services. I am able to perform GET requests without issue.

However, I am trying a PUT request and running into an issue. The screen for the action to createTask has one required field, called body. This body should contain something like this:

{

"data": {

"name": "Some name for my new task"

}

}

The issue is that I am not able to put anything into this field that will not throw an error.

First, no variables are shown in the dropdown for the field (I have lots of variables in this flow and if this field accepted any type of variable, I would expect it to show up here):

Second, if I manually enter a variable that I created, I get the below error. I have tried different variable types and nothing works.

Third, I have tried to manually enter the json code from above:

It appears to work in that I get no validation error message, but then when I click the Done button for the screen, I get this error:

The error is funny because it doesn't have any specifics and also doesn't highlight anything on the screen that it relates to.

I'm a bit stuck here as not sure if this is a problem with the api or some kind of bug with the flow/external services.

Anyone know what's going on here?

    @Ben Merven- I would suggest taking a look at these help docs: https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sf.enhanced_external_services_example_create_flow.htm&type=5.

    It looks like you are having an issue with the generated types, possibly looking at a sample OAS might help to see which one best matches your use case: https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sf.external_services_examples.htm&type=5
