I have two observations about including subscription products in percent of total calculations. Is anyone has similar experience? This will help me confirm I am not messing up with configurations.
- Percent of total is always calculated on 12 months term for subscription products. So even if my quote is 2 year long, PoT is on 1 year.
- Even if Percent of Total category is set, it is required to set "Include In Percent Of Total" checkbox value to True.
Please see my findings below.
1. Two years proration will happen on the subscription products and accordingly your percent of total will be calculated. So I think indirectly your percent of total product will definitely have 2 year percentage price. So lets say for 12 months you have Subscription product price as 100 EUR and POT is 10 % then POT price would be 10 EUR. If you change the term as 24 months then Subscription product price would be 200 EUR and POT would be 20 EUR.
2. If category has been set, then no need to set "Include In Percent Of Total" checkbox value to True.
