Hello all - I am trying to wrap my head around when this IdeaExchange Winter 16 feature would be useful for me: https://success.salesforce.com/ideaView?id=08730000000Br8MAAS
My experience: When I've dealt with a deactivated user in the past I would simply mass transfer their records to the new owner. I've never experienced records owned by multiple inactive users either.
Is this feature allowing the history of the original owner to be retained? So if I did a Mass Transfer of Lead records to a new Owner would there be history of the original creator?
I just need a little clarification :)

@Vered Meir & @Amanda Byrne - thank you for your feedback. Sounds like its a huge problem and I am indeed thankful SF has provided you all with a solution! If I ever encounter any of the issues that have been identified in this thread I will know how to resolve it 🙂
