Hi, I am configuring the new Gift Entry tool to replace Batch Gift Entry. I'm trying to add the "Opportunity Type" field to my GE template, but only two of my picklist values are showing up (out of roughly 20 or so potential ones). I checked the picklist values in the "Type" field of the Opportunity object, as well as the field it's mapped to in the NPSP Data Import object ("Donation Type"). Since Donation Type is a text field, I thought I would create a new picklist field inside of NPSP Data Import with all the same values. However, when I made a new mapping to the Opportunity field inside the Field Mapping configuration, nothing changed. Any idea what's going on?
If it's helpful, the two values that show up were both created on the same day inside the Opportunity Type settings. There are earlier ones that don't show, and all of the ones since aren't showing up either. When we used Batch Gift Entry, all the values showed up in that field.
Hi James, thanks for your help! Your question made me realize I hadn't even tried the field outside the template. Once I did, the right picklist values were showing up for the right record types in the Gift Entry form. I also learned how to edit those values inside each specific Record Type in the Opportunity object. Sometimes the answer's been there all along!
