I'm loving the Create Quick Action for Lightning record pages - nice and streamlined, you can show only the absolute minimum of fields necessary for creating a record.
When entering data into a lookup field on a Lightning record page (like, say, I have a "college" field on Opportunity which is a lookup to Account), if the Account I need does not exist, it would be great to connect the '+ New Account' button at the bottom of the lookup list (that's the list you get when you start typing into a lookup field), to a Quick Action, so I can control which fields are visible in the popup create record window.
Right now, all fields for the chosen record type are displayed, the way life used to be in Classic.
Is it possible to use Quick Actions this way? It would help my users want to switch to lightning a little bit more :)

I don't think it's currently possible to place a quick action on related list, there's an open idea for the same: https://success.salesforce.com/ideaView?id=0873A0000003TXFQA2
A custom built lightning component would work fine with the fields you want.
