Salesforce Optimizer and Lightning Configuration Converter Back Online
The Salesforce Optimizer is now out of maintenance mode and available for use with the same limitations as the Lightning Experience Readiness Check.
- The report that app generates will be sent as an HTML attachment, not a PDF attachment.
- As a result, the email may be flagged as spam or suspicious for some customers.
- The report will still be saved in Salesforce Files to mitigate any deliverability issues.
- For Gmail, clicking on the tile for the attachment will load the report without any styling.
- The HTML report can be downloaded and then opened to maintain styling.
- Customers with a very large number of objects (such as millions of documents) may experience timeouts and may not receive the report.
Salesforce is working to resolve these limitations, but there is no estimated timeline for completion of those efforts.
The Lightning Experience Configuration Converter is also now out of maintenance mode and available for use. There are no associated limitations with it.
The Visualforce Check is out of maintenance mode and can be accessed in the Lightning Experience Configuration Converter at: https://lightning-configuration.salesforce.com/visualforce-pages.xhtml.
Update on Salesforce Optimizer and Lightning Configuration Converter
Hi @Katie Goetz there are no prerequisites for the bootcamp. We'll be talking about some of the readiness tools such as the Readiness Assessment and Optimizer, so you can certainly run those and take a look, but you don't have to.
