When filling out the NPSP data import template, how should I enter a business/church?

I have no person connected with the church, so there's no contact1, contact2, etc. Do I just input the information in "Account1", without any people associated with it?

Hi  @Sarah Thomas https://trailblazers.salesforce.com/profileView?u=0053A00000FTMPpQAP ​,   Yes, just fill out that information as a stand-alone Account and it will default to an Organization Account record type.
