We're migrating data over from a Hubspot instance using Data2CRM migration tool.
We're finding that contacts with the same last names that live in the same state are being merged into one contact. They don't have the same phone or first names.
Should we be turning off duplicate matching rules when doing an import of data from another CRM?

Hi Josh,
Normally, Salesforce does not auto-merge contacts at all. The problem could be to do with the migration tool, or possibly another application you had installed on the platform.
