I turned this option off for our users ([UserPreferencesDisableAllFeedsEmail]) when we did a test migration earlier in the year because our users were getting thousands of emails. Disabling this fixed the issue.

 

When I enabled it after all of our data was migrated over, our users are once again getting spammed.

 

We want to enable Chatter so they can get notifications, but without dealing with the flood of emails now.

 

What are our options?

    I'm wondering whether you can use Deliverability settings on production to disable all emails coming out for a period. This is normally something used in sandboxes, but worth a try?
