Opportunity name not populating with new opportunity creation

We have a workflow rule in place that will update the opportunity name automatically for the user. The workflow rule works only after the opportunity is created.

 

How can I get the opportunity name to pre-populate when we click "New"?

    Thank you both for the push in the right direction.

     

    Now this is doing what I'd like it to do.

     

    Is there a way I can put this Quick Action button in the opportunity section of the lightning page?
