What is wrong when I get the following error: java.net.SocketException: Connection reset

Question

When I try to preview a quote document I get the error shown in the screen shot below. Prior to getting this error I was able to preview quote documents without issue. After making a few changes to a couple of quote templates the error occured but the error occurs for every quote document not just the quote templates that I changed. I've logged out of Salesforce and logged back in and restarted my computer. I'm not sure what is causing this.

I do not know if this is a coincidence or not but I was going to try and re-run post install scripts in the CPQ package configure options but when I select "Configure" on the CPQ package, the page just goes white and I'm unable to reach the Configure page to run the post install scripts.

Hi Andrew, Salesforce were having performance issues just now one a bunch of their servers, which was causing amongst other things the Connection reset error - I was seeing the same thing.  Normal service seems to have resumed on the server I'm on now.  I'd give it a little while and try again!
