I pulled a report with all the needed info. I then cleared the emails so that the excel cells are now empty. When I attempted to do a mass update through DemandTools it noted that all attempts resulted in an error,stating "no data provide." I'm assuming this is becaue the excel cells were empty. I then tried the same using Data Loader, and whole it says they were successfully changed, the email addresses still show on the contacts I did a spot check on.
Any ideas on how to clear bad email addresses from contacts without delteing the entire contact record?

@dnyaneshwar I do not have new email addresses for the contacts with bad addresses. This seems to be my issue. The excel field is left blank and for some reason neither DemandTools nor Data Loader are recognizing that.But I'll try pulling the Email ID and try it that way.
