Chatter keeps trying (and failing) to run an update.

Question

It tells me that the update has failed and give me the options to 'Try Again' or 'Postpone Until Restart' If I try again, then Chatter closes, repoens, runs the update and fails again. If I restart my computer it doesn't run the update but Chatter seemingly runs fine if I just select the postpone option. Thoughts?

If it's working maybe just leave it or does it keep trying to update? Have you tried uninstalling and installing again? This is for Chatter Desktop, correct?   https://help.salesforce.com/HTViewSolution?id=000212910
