I have a custom object which has a picklist field and record type. I have created path using this record type and activated it. Added the path in the lightning record page. This works fine in Sandbox but when the changes are moved to production, the path is not visible on the page. I have moved all objects (page layout, record type, picklist field, path etc) to production and also added permissions to all profiles (including system admin) to the custom object, fields, record type etc.
I am not sure what else is missing. Any help would be appreciated.

Here in 2025 and using the master record type on a custom object worked for me as well.
