Hello I have been asked a question by our Service team in regards to email notifications about cases, escalations.
They basically state that they are getting to many emails from salesforce, for example they get new emails on new cases in the queue, case escalations, personal open cases that have received new emails.
I have editted quite a few of the escalation rules to cut back the emails, but they ask is it possible to get a summary email every 2 hours rather than lots of separate emails.
I know I can turn off some of the email alerts but they tell me these are required but not so frequent, so have asked about have summary emails instead.
I have research this and cannot find any example of people doing this, has anybody acheived this or had a similar outcome.
Look forward to the responses
Many Thanks

Hi Jonathan,
So you would want a summary email which covers all of those? for example one email which shows how many cases are in the queue how many are open/escalated such forth?
Although you can achieve this I think you would have to use something like a Visualforce email template to be able to pull all of this information into one. This would involve writing the code unfortunately not something I can help you with, but i'm sure others here may be able to
