I login to saleforce as System Admin and created a new profile and now i want to edit that profile but I am not getting Edit button for editing that profile. Even I am not able to edit any custom profile.

    Thanks for your help Michael Gill. But I found one more way to solve this problem. By this way we can edit every profile either it is custom or standard. 

     

    Go to Customize > User Interface > In Setup Section > Enable Enhanced Profile User Interface [Uncheck this option ]

     

    Save it.
