object descriptions

Question

Hello All. I would like to see the API Name and data type for the fields on an object. Ideally I would like to extract all fields together (custom and out of the box). Does anyone know what query I should use with the developer console to retrieve this information from my Salesforce org? Any help would be much appreciated.

I usually copy the list in classic, and paste it into a spreadsheet.
