When a lead is created, in my case from Marketo campaign, the lead record shows created by "Marketo" but when the lead is converted to account/contact the contact record shows created by as the sales persons name who converted it. I don't want that, I want the created by on the lead to pass to the created by on the contact.
You can't do that. Marketo did not create the Account or Contact record. An actual User did, and you'll want to know that. The Lead Source field is generally the way to track the source of records.
