Exit Criteria not working - Journey Builder

We are in process of creating a standard email journey for our leads and customers, and for some reason the exit criteria is not working as expected.

 

 

 

Below are the steps we have took during the journey:

 

 

 

Journey Goal:

 

 

  1. When a lead is converted to live account, lead should exit the journey (Journey #1)

               

 

Steps followed:

 

 

  • Used Salesforce object as entry criteria
  • Selected lead object – Checked the box “is created” & “is updated”
  • Put relevant entry data including First Name, Preferred language etc
  • Saved and activated the journey
  • Put the exit criteria as “Isconverted=True” in order to for the lead exit the journey if converted.
  • Then we created a test lead in salesforce – it successfully entered the journey.
  • After the lead entered the journey, it went through a wait criteria of 15 minutes.
  • In the meantime, we converted the lead in salesforce and made it to a live account.
  • Refreshed the journey after 15 minutes – the lead did not exit the journey even though in Salesforce the attribute changed to “Isconverted=true”

 

 

Could you review the above steps and identify the error?
