The notifications e-mail is not working on some objects like cases and tasks. But it does work on our custom object "Requests".

 

The user will go in to change the record, tick the e-mail notification checkbox but the new user will not receive any notification.

 

Any recommendations on how to resolve the issue?

    Hello Josh, have you checked your " Email log files " if not i would check in there to see if the email has been produced as sometimes emails are blocked by your I.T
