Example:
the custom object is called "Program" and when we click the "Send with Docusign" button we want it to populate the contact that is it the "Incentive Contact" lookup field that is related to that "Program"

You can do this using URL hacking - which isn't as complicated as it sounds.

Basically, you pre-populate this field in the button using a custom URL =)
