We receive residual income from ATT each month that a customer's account is "active". I would like to know the total revenue received for each customer at any given time.
I need a formula to check that the "Status" picklist is marked "Active".
Next it needs to determine the rate to accumulate at. If it is less than or equal to 12 months since the account was created it will bill at Rate1. After 12 months it will bill at Rate2.
I want the field that displays on the ATT Account Object to update based upon the amount of months since account creation.
I have no idea where to even start with this one. Any help would be appreciated.
I have several existing fields I plan to use in this formula:
Currency Formula: Monthly_Bill_First_Year__c = Rate1
Currency Formula: Monthly_Bill_Regular_Price__c = Rate2
Date/Time Field: Start_Date__c = Account Creation Date
Picklist: Status__c = Whether to accumulate another month of residuals ("Active" is the status that should accumulate).
