I have the template created in DocuSign and the corresponding fields added to the connect feature on DocuSign.
Q: When using the connect feature do the fields that are I trying to pull from/update on the DS Template need to reside on the starting object? Example: I am trying to update fields on the guest object but trying to use an additional document attached to our quote/contract.
I have tried adding the document to the quote templates > contract > additional documents but the corresponding DocuSign fields do not show as DS fields on the document when signing.
I tried to just add the template from DocuSign to my SF document and I was able to get the DocuSign text/signature fields to populate however it did not write back to SF.
Any guidance would be much appreciated, thank you.
