We currently use a placeholder account combined with lots of custom code and triggers to connect entitlementprocess and cases.
We whish to use less custom code and more standard salesforce to make the system more easy to mantain.
Have anyone done anything similar?

Hi Silje,
Entitlements are attributes of accounts, so in order to link a case to an entitlement process, it must be associated with an account.
However, you don't need to use a lot of custom code; I've done this with process builder and flow. I suspect you have some additional logic behind the scenes - can you explain what your code is trying to accomplish?
