Can you tell me please if this is not possible now? I am always directed to lightning whenever I go to Salesforce. I already did change to classic, then I logged out. But when I log in again, it still in ligtning. Switching is easy, but I hate that I have to do that more than 10x everyday. Can you tell me please what is the other way of defaulting to Classic?

If you're on Lightning, with Encourage Users to Stay in Lightning Experience activated, and in Summer '18 then it should be available I believe.
