I just created Compact Layout for SF1 and it won't take...What I am missing??? See attached Screenshots

Hi Nate and Phil,

I found that the compact layout only affects the SF1 header on the object (i.e. Account Records).

So I decided to try creating a mobile friendly page layout using existing page layouts. I understand the importance of creating mobile optimized page layouts but I want the desktop version to contain the full set of fields while the mobile version contains only the most important ones. Is this possible? In theory, it makes sense but only one page layout can be assigned per profile that I'm aware of. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi Nathan,   	   	Compact Layouts only represent the record in certain context. You will still need to custom a page layout appropriately for Salesforce1. The screen you're showing above is driven by a regular page layout.
