VR for locking the user

I am trying to write a VR that the ownership cannot be changed if the Supplies case has been created by CS person. So far I wrote. The rule is not working.

 

AND

RecordTypeId='01280000000HmU6', 

 

ISCHANGED(OwnerId), 

 

PRIORVALUE( OwnerId ) <> $User.Id , 

 

OR 

 

( $User.ProfileId ='00e340000011vWR', 

 

$User.ProfileId ='00e80000001G94R', 

 

$User.ProfileId ='00e340000011vQT') 

 

)

 

I would really appreciate if someone help me with this problem. Thank you

    Hi Neeraja - it sounds like you're wanting to block based on CreatedBy User Profile, and not on the current User's profile as is in your rule currently.  Give this a try - note that using Names instead of Id is preferred (more strongly by some than others it seems :))  Replace Supplies and CS Profile X with their proper names

          RecordType.Name = "Supplies", 

     

          ISCHANGED(OwnerId), 

     

          OR(

     

                 CreatedBy.Profile.Name = "CS Profile 1", 

     

                 CreatedBy.Profile.Name = "CS Profile 2",
