I able able to edit some fields, but not others. Which means that inline editing is enabled, and the list view is filtered by record type.
The fields that I am not able to edit on the list view, I am able to edit if I go to the page layout. Which proves I have access to edit the field.
Any ideas?

Even a couple years later, this was still the only answer I found for this issue!
