One of the ways we use Salesforce is to offer a sort of 'membership' to a scheme. We create an opportunity and the product is one of 4 different scheme types. Once the opportunity has been closed won, the scheme becomes an asset on the account, with an expiry date.
I want to be able to have a field on the account that says Scheme A, B, C or D, depending on which scheme was purchased and whether there is a current asset (where the expiry date is later than today).
I have tried using RUS fields but you can't use TODAY in the formula, it has to be an actual date field.
What are my other options?
