blanket opportunities

I am sure someone has the same challenge, but I don't seem to have the right keywords to pull up any info. We often have opportunities that span multiple months. We will have an inital qualification order and then repeating orders with a fixed dollar amount each month if the qualifification is successful.

 

Short of cloning the orginal opportunity 11 times to have the $ show up in a forescast report, what are others doing to solve the issue?

 

This is a common situation in industry, so I know some of you are dealing with the same challenge

    +1 @Amber for Product Schedules to create easily reportable "revenue pipelines".  Also, if you are delivering Products or Services on a schedule, you might take a look at Orders, which would let you track each 'delivery' against the Opp.
