Dear Salesforce community,
I am losing the attached file in my emails that I attach to contacts in Salesforce using Outlook.
Please note that the attached file option is already clicked on in the "My Email to Salesforce" user settings.
Also I am told that there is a pop-up window that prompts the user to select the activity type before attaching the email. If correct, where do I go to turn it back on?

Did you add this related list (Attachments) to your Task page layout? If not this is how I addressed mine.
