In Ideas, our categories aren't showing in the pick list

We've enabled Categories under settings and added some categories to the category pick list, but when we go to add an idea, there is nothing in the pick list.  When I go back to edit categories, they are all there. Any idea what's going on?

    when you are in the picklist

     

    Setup / App Setup / Customize / Ideas / Fields / Categories

     

    Make sure that you add those categories values to the community
