Receiving error when trying to sort my Summary report. Any ideas why or how this is happening?

I've created a number of reports showing various formula fields coming from a custom object. I've created numerous reports pulling the same fields yet for some reason when I try to sort one patricular report I recieve the following error message:

 

"A report can have up to 100 columns when sorting by grouping is turned on. Remove some columns from your report and try again."

 

Any thoughts or suggestions as to why this is happening and how I can go about soliving it? Thanks!

    How many columns does the Report have?

     

    "Remove some columns from your report and try again."

     

    Did you try doing what the message says?
