Hi All, has anyone been able to do workarounds to customize the default B2BMA dashboards? In particular, the B2BMA Engagement Dashboard that can be added on contacts, leads and accounts?

The default Engagement Dashboard is basically not useful for our team because it pulls in all activity, not just the activity that we deem significant. It got instant, negative reactions when we showed it to the reps and other marketers. We tried to add filters and additional data in a customized dashboard, but found out that only the default dashboard is visible in Salesforce to our Analytics View Only users.

Does anyone have any ideas, tips or tricks that they've used to make B2BMA data visible to Analytics View Only users?

Hi @Danielle Grau and @Eric Wittke

, thanks for the quick response.

To clarify, I'm referring to the Engagement History Dashboard that can be added to Contacts, Leads and Accounts.

I would describe email opens and landing page visits vs landing page completions as a prime example of activity that is insignificant vs significant. When our sales reps or BDRs look at an account, they don't want to see who is opening an email. They want to know who is acting in a way that might signal buying intent.

Our team wants to know the following when they go to an account:

    - Who is completing forms, landing pages, clicking on emails?

    - What email links are they clicking on? (I was able to use custom redirects to show this)?

    - What topics are they most interested in? (For example, is a customer without analytics looking at analytics content?)

    - Which contacts on that account are the most active? What high value activities (demos, top-converting reports, etc.) are those prospects engaging with?

Currently, to use the filters on the embedded dashboard, you have to have knowledge of what they mean. So - knowing the difference between a visit to a priority page vs a visit to a landing page. Also, the average user isn't going to make those edits - they're going to look at the embedded dashboard, go "This isn't useful" and then walk away.

Does that help clarify? Happy to share our use cases if it helps.
