HOME Page 'Report Charts' - Different from Dashboard Display?

I added two Report Charts to a new Lightning HOME page.  I noticed that the chart display (format) on the HOME page is slightly different than the chart display on an associated Dashboard. 

Specifically, on the Dashboard, all parts of the chart 'donut' display a count with a Total Count displayed in the middle of the 'donut'.  The HOME page chart does NOT display a count for the smaller 'donut' slices and there is NO total count displayed in the middle of the 'donut'.

Has anyone else noticed this?  Should a Report Chart on a Lightning HOME page display identical to that on a Dashboard?
